General Questions

These are some of the questions I get asked often. Please feel
free to contact us if you don't get your question's answer in below.

If I am not otherwise employed by another client we can certainly speak about your requirements, sure

A general misconception is that making a game is easy, takes almost no time and is cheap to make. All three these things are false.

How long a game takes to make is entirely dependent on how complex you want the game to be. Building a Pac-Man clone will take very little time.

Building a better Fortnite will take longer…

My normal rate is $3,000 per month. Depending on the complexity of your game it can take between 1 and many months to create.

Again, how long it will take depends entirely on how complex your game is going to be. Please see question 2…

Unlike normal where a developer quotes for a specific amount of time and then works to that budget and deadline, I work quite differently since I do this both for fun and work.

I don’t block out “This will take that long and this will take that long”, then bill accordingly and hope my estimates were correct. Instead, I bill “per period of time or part thereof” and then I usually go over that period and do unpaid overtime.

For example, if you hire me for a day I will bill you for 8 hours but will work for up to 20 hours to get everything perfect. When billing per week I bill for 40 hours and if that time is up after day 2 then I work for free for the rest of the week. My record so far is 68 hours for a week

So, yeah, I don’t work by time tables. I just work by day/week/month

As a rule of thumb I only ever work for one client at a time. If I can do your project in a day then I might consider doing it over a weekend but this is very rare.

If I am available I will indicate that clearly on this website. You are free to contact me with you requirements when you see I am available.

Yes. After service care is always included for free.

If you need more / new/ different features or functionality, that will count as a separate project and will be billed accordingly as and when I am available to take on the new job

Some of my assets are available on the Asset Store for visibility purpose only. Most of my Unity assets have been released on GitHub.

You are free to download and use them, just not modify or resell them. If you find them useful you can always Buy ME a Coffee.

I did this so I can focus on making assets and games in Unreal

Firstly, thank you, you are too kind 🙂

Secondly, unfortunately I do not have a Patreon page, no. You can always support me on Buy Me a Coffee if you want.
